Enjoy our live jazz event outdoors in the sun (yes we are all hoping that it's going to show up on the day!) in the beautiful setting of the Bandstand in the Porchfields in the heart of Trim town. We are feeling very fortunate to be the first gig to perform on this unique outdoor space. To entertain you at JAZZ AT THE BANDSTAND we are delighted to bring BLUTACK & THE GREENHORNS to Trim. Formed in Cavan in the Early 2000s, Blutack and the Greenhorns are a melting pot of Funk, Blues, Jazz, Rock, Soul and the craic. Their electric live shows have captured the love of audiences for over 15 years all over Ireland. The band has been well received by many of the Island's best festivals including Electric Picnic, Healing Spirit, Knockanstockan, Cork Jazz Festival.......and now the MIDSUMMER JAZZ & BLUES WEEKEND IN TRIM.

VENUE ACCESS - The event can only be accessed through the single gate on the ring road right beside the Bus Stop ID 103061 - PLEASE SEE THE GOOGLE MAP BELOW
TICKETS - The event is free but can only be attended with a booked ticket. Should you be unable to attend the event after downloading tickets PLEASE can you let us know so that we can re-issue the tickets online.
SAFETY- This is typically an adult event but should you need to bring children please remember they are your responsibility and must stay with you AT ALL TIMES. The Bandstand is situated very close to the banks of the River Boyne , an area which is not fenced off. The event organisers are in no way responsible for you or your children's safety while attending this event.
EVENT SITE - The event site is a grass only area so please be prepared. We recommend to bring a lined picnic blanket , or plastic sheet for underneath your blanket in case the grass is damp, bring sun glasses in case the sun shines, bring water in case it is hot, bring a small umbrella in case there are a few drops of rain, bring sun cream..... just in case
LITTER - Trim is an award winning Tidy Town and we take littering very seriously so we ask you to please take all your litter, bottles, cans, wrappers, picnic blankets etc home with you or use the litter bins available on the day. #leavenotrace
PARKING - There are several carparks close to the event site that are within easy walking distance Please remember to check if parking is free or paid before leaving the car park.

TOILETS - Go before you leave the house (lol....) in the event that you need to use the facilities our friends at the Trim Haymaking Festival are kindly sharing their toilet facilities with us, these can be accessed in the field adjacent to the Bandstand via the path under the Ring Road and will be signposted on the day (or ask one of our friendly Trim Ambassadors for directions)
FOOD - Trim has an abundance of coffee shops, hotels, restaurants and take aways all open and available to serve you on the day. We will have ice cream and cold drinks available at the gig or Pre-order a PICNIC HAMPER from Trim Castle Hotel and collect it on your way to the event , or pre order your PICNIC PLATTER from Harvest Home Bakery which can be delivered to you at the gig or pop over to Platter By Lu and create your own cheese box from their CHEESE BOX BAR to enjoy during the gig. Don't be in a rush to head home afterwards, stay in Trim, enjoy some food in one of our local restaurants, hotels or take aways and then head to Trim Castle Hotel where you can enjoy more live jazz from Buckley & Whyte.
